As I write this blog post it’s snowing outside, a rare and beautiful sight in Vancouver. It’s put me in the mood to curl up by the fire with a tasty cup of tea, review the year that has passed and think about some exciting goals and plans for the New Year…2017.
Before I get ahead of myself though, I wanted to share this little video with you that highlights my third annual Birthday Project which took place in Tuscany, Italy and features several of the works that were created both by myself and the other wonderful artists who participated in this years project. The video also includes my Holiday wishes to you.
On a final note I wanted to let you know that I will be committing to a new posting schedule in 2017. On the first Friday of each month you will receive a new blog post. Hopefully it will arrive so that you can enjoy it sometime over the weekend that follows. This will be the major post of the month and might feature
- an art material or process demo
- strategies to enhance your creativity and creative process
- an art or creativity book review
- an interview with an artist or creative soul strategies to develop your art ideas and concepts
- an art critique and much more!
On the third Friday of the month you will receive some eye candy (some might call it brain candy) – a beautiful image with an inspiring quote about creativity. I hope that you will enjoy this new routine of scheduled posts and that the information will continue to teach, inspire and delight. I’m really excited about the year that lays ahead and am looking forward to connecting with many of you in a variety of ways in the coming weeks and months.
I wish you a wonderful holiday season!
